Smile Empty Soul on ‘House Blend’ w/Stephen K. Peeples, 02-25-12

“”House Blend” on SCVTV hosted by Stephen K. Peeples Saturday nights at 10 presents the premiere broadcast featuring lead singer/guitarist Sean Danielsen and drummer Jake Kilmer of Smile Empty Soul on March 10, 2012. SES scored gold with their major label debut in 2003 and remain the world’s best-known SCV-based band. With SES bassist Ryan Martin out of town at school, Danielsen and Kilmer introduced two of the most popular videos from the band’s 2009 album “Consciousness” — “Don’t Ever Leave” and “We’re Through.” The duo also chatted with Peeples for a few minutes between songs, and provided a preview of the trio’s fifth studio album, “3’s,” out in May 2012. “House Blend” is co-produced at the SCVTV Media Center in Newhall, Calif., by Peeples and SCVTV’s Megan Mann-Perez, who also directs with Austin Dave; Michael Mazzetti produces the sound. The show airs Saturdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m. Pacific Time on SCVTV (Time Warner Cable Channel 20 in the Santa Clarita Valley, and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 in Los Angeles and Orange counties), and streams live everywhere via the Web at www.scvtv.com. All “House Blend” shows are also available on demand at www.scvtv.com/html/houseblend-current.html and www.scvhouseblend.com. Photos: (c) Stephen K.
