Stephen K Peeples House Blend

“House Blend” was a half-hour weekly live music and interview program hosted by Santa Clarita journalist Stephen K. Peeples on SCVTV, community television for the Santa Clarita Valley in northwest Los Angeles County.

The WAVE-nominated show focused on SCV talent as well as other artists of interest to local music fans, and the original episodes aired from fall 2010 through spring 2015.

“House Blend” was co-produced at the SCVTV Media Center in Newhall, Calif., by Peeples and SCVTV’s Megan Perez, who also directed with Austin Dave. In addition to hosting, Peeples booked all the talent and wrote all the scripts. Michael Mazzetti and Tyler Kulesz produced the sound. SCVTV CEO Leon Worden was the executive producer.

Peeples wrote many previews for episode premieres; find them here.

The show’s original episodes still air Saturdays at 10 p.m. Pacific Time on SCVTV (Spectrum Channel 20 in the SCV, and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 in LA and Orange counties) and stream live everywhere else via www.scvtv.com.

Here are links to all the archived episodes, as well as a dozen best-of collections from the early years.
